Do you ever feel discomfort when … enter activity!, e.g. bending down to pick something off the floor, kite surfing, at work, sleeping..?
Would you like to experience less pain and more ease in your body? Or simply a better night's rest?
Did you know that 80% of discomfort, pain and disease is associated with restricted or rapid breathing?
The good news, this means, is that we can also influence our state of health and ease in the body by freeing the breath, via awareness and movement!
Free breath also equates to a calm mind for happiness and performance both on and off the water! The breath is your gateway to create a positive influence on your health, longevity, metabolism, immunity and life!
Breathing techniques and body movements in this 4 hour workshop focus on unlocking tension that can manifest in our bodies from stressful lifestyles and old injuries.
You will learn how to move your body to free your breath, while exploring aspects of functional breathing to ensure better concentration during the day, and sleep at night.
We’ll experience the power of connecting to the breath through ancient, yet science-informed techniques to put you back in control of your health and wellness.
Bringing awareness to how you breathe day-to-day, combined with a simple re-patterning practice to promote functional breathing, is the key to mind-body freedom.
For the ultimate boost to your immunity and longevity we'll close this workshop with the exhilarating experience of Cold Immersion. We have the beautiful ocean on our door step at this location so will make the most of a winter cold water immersion - BYO swim suit, towels and warm clothes for after the dip.
Weather dependent optional stay after to warm up with your new buddies and post-swim 'pats on the backs' :D
Kiters and non-kiters alike will benefit immensely from this functional movement and breathwork workshop, creating mindbody ease during the offseason and be body confident and resilient ready for summer.
Light snacks and refreshments provided, please bring a water bottle and refrain from eating a heavy breakfast.
