Anatomy in Motion (Gary Ward) May 17
A ricochet effect of joint motion from the ground up – get it right @ the foot and you’re 95% there Our bodies are designed to work like well oiled machines, where all joints move in concert with each other. When we develop faulty movement patterns from having been injured or being sedentary, certain parts of our ‘machine’ stop receiving oil. This can lead to pain, a reduction in movement to protect the painful area and impact to other areas of the body. We train you to achieve optimum joint motion and physical performance while teaching your body to find centre. Rather than stabilising structures, AiM recognises that movement is ever present in the system, so the work is to enable stability without fixating (dynamic stability). Specific whole body movements give back movement freedom while encouraging the body to feel safe to move, where it may have been restricted from previous injuries. |
